Miami Baby!

I was asking Justin in January...when are we going to go on vacation this year, where? Everybody is planning their vacation; why aren't we? I guess he didn't like the phrase "everybody" is going on vacation. So I stopped looking at flights to Hawaii or Mexico. A week later he calls me from work and asks if I want to go to Miami with the kids. He needs to interview a few managerial candidates for the restaurants and asked if we wanted to tag along. Of course I said, "sure." Well, Miami was a total blast but not the most kid friendly place. Most cabs didn't want to pick us up because they didn't want to deal with car seats or screaming kids. Many restaurants didn't have high chairs and often posted, "no kids under 12 after 6pm." Needlessness to say, we spend the days at the pool and beach and hired the hotel sitter to watch the kiddos the last few nights so we could have a true adult evening. I don't think we will be back to Miami until the kids or older or we have no kids with us...lol. It was fun though to get away as the family...
Ordering food at the non-kid friendly restaurant at the hotel

Out on the town with the family in Miami

Just hanging out at the beach

Miami has really pretty beaches

Taking taxi rides...the kids thought they were so big.

"too cool"

Trip to the everglades to take a air boat ride and see real alligators.

Nope, not even afraid for a second.

Eating ice-cream poolside.

Henry loved the Lamborghini. They were having some convention at our hotel.

Tired, after the pool.
